Dr. Attisha is a Board-Certified double degree (DMD and MD) Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree.  Following his undergraduate studies, he completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (Magna Cum Laude) from University of Louisville in 2007.  He then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Kentucky in 2013. There he obtained advanced training in all phases of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, received his Medical Degree and completed a one year residency in General Surgery. After completing his 6 year surgical training program, he moved to Watertown NY and joined the reputable practice of Dr. Schneeberger in 2013.

Dr. Attisha is the only dual degreed (DMD, MD) Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon in the north country. He has successfully completed the dual-stage board certification process in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, passing both the written and oral examinations. He is licensed to practice Medicine and Dentistry in New York state.  Dr. Attisha is the Chief of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY.  He is also the President of the Jefferson-Lewis County Dental Society since 2014. He is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association

In his scarce free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching soccer, and traveling to Canada and Michigan to see family and friends.
