Dr. Restrepo is a dual-degree (DDS and MD) oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Case Western Reserve University before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1993. During dental school, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society.
Dr. Restrepo completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Miami Medical Center/Jackson Memorial Medical Center in 1999. During his training, he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree, completed a PGY-2 General Surgery residency, and received advanced training in all phases of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including microvascular surgery.
After completing six years of surgical training, Dr. Restrepo moved to Buffalo, New York, where he became the Clinical Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program at Erie County Medical Center while also establishing a private practice.
Outside the office, Dr. Restrepo enjoys spending time with his six children and watching soccer.
